AC Milan have reignited their interest in Everton target Nikola Kalinic after reportedly missing out on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
With the Gabon international set to stay at Borussia Dortmund, Milan have once again set their sights on Kalinic, who is attracting the interest of several clubs around Europe.
Everton were linked with the Fiorentina forward and they are on the hunt for a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who joined Manchester United earlier in the window.
However, according to the Corriere dello Sport, Milan have offered their Serie A rivals £19m plus add-ons for the services of Kalinic.
The Croatia international was in red-hot form for club and country last season, bagging 22 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions.
With Fiorentina unwilling to lose their star striker, Milan may be forced to up their offer or risk missing out to Everton before the window slams shut.
