Arsenal have been linked with a summer move for Leicester City’s Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
The Gunners have reportedly been in contact with Ndidi’s representatives over a transfer, though they are likely to face competition from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.
“There has been so much interest in him [Ndidi]. He is going to be a top player and Arsenal have been in contact,” a source close to Ndidi told The Sun.
“They want to sign him this summer. Arsene Wenger is a manager he admires a lot and his friend Alex Iwobi has told him lots of great things about the club.”
The 21-year-old Ndidi has started all 31 of Leicester’s Premier League matches in the 2017/18 season.
