Hoffenheim’s Croatia striker Andrej Kramarić has stated that they will treat their World Cup opener against Nigeria on June 16 like the final of the competition.
Kramarić was one of the first players named in Croatia’s preliminary squad to arrive at Rovinj where they will be staying until June 2 before flying to Liverpool for a glamour friendly with Brazil.
”I feel great and we are ready for something big, Nigeria is our final. We are motivated and the atmosphere is great,” Kramaric told reporters in Croatia on Saturday.
“Satisfied with my season in Hoffenheim and let God so be it in the national team. I will do everything I can, because we all know what it means to play at the World Cup.”
Andrej Kramarić was directly involved in 22 goals (13 goals and 9 assists) from 42 matches in all competitions last season.
The Croatian national team will hold their first training on Sunday morning and it is open to the public.
