LEEDS UNITED have confirmed the signing of striker Jay-Roy Grot.
Grot, 19, has signed a four-year deal at the Championship side.
“I am very happy, this is such a big club and this is a big step in my career, I am delighted to signed for Leeds United,” he told the club’s official website.
“It was been my dream to play in England and so to do that at a club like Leeds is really exciting.”
Leeds have already signed 12 new players under manager Thomas Christiansen this summer.
And the Whites have added NEC’s Grot to their squad following Chris Wood’s £15million departure to Burnley.
Grot has completed a move thought to be worth around £1.5m.
The centre-forward scored five goals in 20 Eredivisie appearances for NEC last season.
Leeds are also in for Middlesbrough’s Rudy Gestede and hope their former manager Garry Monk, now in charge of Boro, will agree to let the player go.
