Liverpool and Lyon will meet this week to discuss a deal for Nabil Fekir.
The attacking midfielder is the Reds’ number one transfer target this summer after enjoying a brilliant season in France.
The France international finished the campaign with 18 Ligue 1 goals, while he also weighed in with eight assists.
Liverpool are now keen to tie up a deal for Fekir and, according to L’Equipe, they will meet with Lyon this week.
The two clubs have scheduled a crunch meeting in the hope an agreement can be struck for the 24-year-old.
Lyon are holding out for around £53m for their captain, who has so far spent his whole professional career at the club.
