Much of the summer transfer window so far has been dominated by Manchester United hoping to hear good news about Fabinho.
The Brazilian, who was given his debut at Real Madrid by Jose Mourinho, was one of the stars of the Monaco side last season.
Fabinho predominantly played in central midfield but can play at right back and was a key man for Leonardo Jardim at Monaco last season.
The Brazilian was part of the Monaco side that won Ligue 1 and reached the Champions League semi-finals.
Is the Fabinho deal back on?
In recent weeks, it looks like PSG would win the race to sign Fabinho, despite tentative interest from Manchester United.
However, on Saturday it emerged that Monaco are not willing to sell Fabinho to a direct rival in France.
On Monday, Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport have an update on Fabinho’s “uncertain” future.
PSG still keen on Fabinho
PSG had offered 40 million euros plus 5 million in incentives, which was a higher bid than Manchester United.
According to Corriere dello Sport journalist Davide Russo de Cerame, PSG may well come back in for Fabinho with a higher bid.
The Parisians are eager to replace Thiago Motta, who looks set to leave the club.
