Los Blancos would have to double the current world transfer record if they want to capture the 18-year-old
Bottom of Form
Monaco have named their price for French starlet Kylian Mbappe – quoting the attacker at €180million, according to L’Equipe .
The 18-year-old shot to worldwide prominence last season after scoring 26 goals in 44 appearances and producing a series of devastating displays.
Mbappe’s good form also helped guide Monaco to Ligue 1 glory and a Champions League semi-final.
The French starlet even earned a call up to the national side, making four appearances for Les Bleus in 2017 and shining against England in June.
Because of his astonishing rise, Mbappe has found himself wanted by some of the biggest clubs in Europe – namely Real Madrid and Arsenal.
However, on Wednesday, Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev said: “We’re discussing a contract renewal with him. I hope we’ll get there.”
Taking another twist, French news outlet L’Equipe claim Monaco will accept a €180m bid for the attacker.
This means Zinedine Zidane’s side will have to double the current world transfer record if they want to get their man.
