Crystal Palace U16 team demolished Millwall 5-1 on Saturday with young Nigerian striker Josh Ajayi putting in a Man of the Match performance.
In the game featuring several U15 players for the Eagles, Ajayi, who can also be deployed as a wing-back and winger, tallied four goals.
He debuted for Crystal Palace U18 team at the age of fourteen and represented the club at the Youdan Trophy 2017, where he was nominated for U16 Fans Goal of the Tournament accolade.
Charlton Athletic, Ipswich Town, Cardiff City, Bolton Wanderers, and Birmingham City are among the teams the talented striker has scored against in the current season.
Ajayi is expected to be one of Crystal Palace’s new scholars for the 2018-2019 campaign as he has already been offered a new deal.
The highly-coveted Joseph Hungbo finished the regular season as the Eagles U18s top scorer with 15 goals.
