Sporting Kansas City Academy product Nansel Selbol bagged a brace for Swope Park Rangers as they thrashed San Antonio FC 5-2 at Swope Soccer Village (Kansas City, Mo.) on Sunday.
The former Nigeria U23 invitee got the scoring started in the 11th minute when he converted a spot kick.
And Selbol doubled Swope Park Rangers lead on 62 minutes, scoring with a first time finish to make it 3-1 after Kevin Oliveira and Tyler Pasher had combined to set him up.
The 20-year-old striker’s goal was his last touch of the game as he made way for Mark Anthony Gonzalez a minute later.
Warri-born defender Sebastian Ibeagha put in full shift for the visitors in his 26th appearance in the United Soccer League this season.
With yesterday’s brace, Selbol took his tally for the season to seven goals in the league.
