ARSENAL defender Hector Bellerin should not be welcomed back to Barcelona, according to club legend Xavi.

Hector Bellerin left Barcelona in 2011 to join Arsenal where he has since developed into one of the best young right-backs in Europe.
The 22-year-old ousted Mathieu Debuchy in 2014 and has been Arsene Wenger’s first-choice ever since.
His fine performances over the last three seasons have seen him linked with a return to Barca, with reports resurfacing this summer.
However, club legend Xavi has admitted he is not keen on his former club welcoming back ex-players like Bellerin.
“I haven’t seen him play a lot, but I’ll tell you something, it’s difficult for me to accept signing a player we already had,” Xavi told Spanish newspaper Sport.
“Yes, it can work out or not. But I would not sign players who leave.
“Why are they leaving at 16 or 17? It’s baffling to me. I don’t understand it.
“You were here, you wanted to leave, then you don’t come back.

Xavi remained loyal to Barcelona for the majority of his career, spending 24 years at the Nou Camp before joining Qatari side Al Sadd in 2015.
