Adeniran, Barkley, Henry, Two Other Players Of Nigerian Descent Named In Everton’s Premier League Squad

England U18 international Dennis Adeniran has been included in Everton’s Premier League squad for the first half of the 2017-2018 season.

The Toffees announced the acquisition of the promising midfielder from Fulham on a four-year deal on September 1, as the paperwork was completed in time before the close of the transfer window on Thursday night.

Five players of Nigerian descent have been registered for the Premier League by Everton, including Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru, who has been loaned out to R.S.C. Anderlecht for the whole of this season.

The three remaining players are England star Ross Barkley, England U20 World Cup winning winger Ademola Lookman and the Nigerian-born striker Korede Adedoyin.

Barkley is among the homegrown players in Everton’s roster, while Adeniran, Lookman, Onyekuru and Adedoyin were classified as U21 players.
