ALVARO MORATA will be a success in the Premier League after completing his move to Chelsea.
That’s the opinion of Spanish football expert Gerry Armstrong who believes the 24-year-old will outshine Romelu Lukaku at first.
The Blues are expected to announce the signing of Morata at any time after he underwent his medical yesterday.
Armstrong told The Times: “How does he measure up to Lukaku and Costa?
“Romelu Lukaku, a striker who was said to be Chelsea’s prime transfer target, is stronger and more aggressive but the Spaniard’s technique, skill and pace will get him a greater variety of goals.
“Unlike the Belgian, Morata will be new to the Premier League so defenders will not be accustomed to him, which can help him at first.

“He also has a fantastic attitude —much better than that of the temperamental Diego Costa.
“Morata has great determination and should be popular in the dressing room.”
Morata was down the pecking order at Real Madrid with Karim Benzema preferred by manager Zinedine Zidane.
Gerry Armstrong thinks Alvaro Morata will impress at Chelsea
The Spain international is expected to lead the line at Stamford Bridge after Antonio Conte told Diego Costa he wasn’t in his future plans.
Morata will be Chelsea’s fourth signing of the summer after Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Willy Caballero all made the switch.
