The young stopper is being looked at by the claret and blues
Teenage goalkeeper Max Harris is having a trial with Aston Villa this week.
The young stopper, from Hereford, is being looked at by the claret and blues ahead of a potential offer of professional football.
“We have Max, but he’s going to Aston Villa on Monday for a week, which is fantastic for us,” boss Pete Beadle told the Hereford Times.
“He will be available on Wednesday, but I wouldn’t take the risk in playing him in case I can get cover.
“But it’s part and parcel of pre-season.”
While Harris is very much a look towards the future, Villa aren’t short on options between the sticks in the meantime.
Sam Johnstone has returned for a second loan from Manchester United, while Mark Bunn and Jed Steer are Steve Bruce’s alternatives.
