On loan Bologna of Italy midfielder Kingsley Michael will lead other foreign professional to the camp of the Nigeria U20 team ahead of the start of preparations for the U20 World Youth Championship.
Michael has been given the all clear by Bologna to represent Nigeria at the tournament following his impressive showing for Serie B side Perugia where he has spent the season on loan.
The midfielder who is fondly called Kaka Trigger by close friends and associates is also a part of the Nigeria U23 team but after failing to play in any of their two legged qualifiers against Libya which they won 4-2 on aggregate, he is expected to team up with the U20s.
Owngoalnigeria.com also gathered that Sogndal of Norway forward Jerome Akor, AS Trencin Emeka Umeh and a host of players born abroad who have signify their intentions to play for Nigeria are also in the list of foreign based players, who will join the team when they move to Europe for the final leg of their camping.
Coach Paul Aigbogun is presently drilling the players called up from local clubs in Nigeria at their camp in Abuja and series of friendly games has been played by the team.
