The chances of the Benfica right back Tyronne Ebuehi making the squad of the Super Eagles of Nigeria for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations received a huge boost two days back.
Ebuehi joined Benfica in the summer on a free transfer from Dutch side ADO Den Haag after impressing for Nigeria at the World Cup in Russia but an injury picked up in pre-season has kept him out of the team.
Following a successful surgery and rehabilitation, the 23 year old trained with the rest of the Benfica squad for the first time two days back and shared his joy with a post on his social media handle.
