Croatia club may sell winger before the transfer window closes
Hajduk Split may allow Everton target Nikola Vlasic to leave before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
The Blues are interested in signing the 19-year-old winger, who played against them recently in the Europa League play-off tie report the Liverpool Echo .
Vlasic was just 16 when he made his first-team debut and and has since been looked at by a number of top leading European clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur .
And with Everton considering a £8m offer for the player, Hajduk Split president Ivan Kos has said the Croatian side could sell in the coming days.
Speaking to Split newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija , Kos said: “The transfer window runs until August 31, sometimes transfers happen a minute before midnight. We don’t want to lose 1% of our quality.
“I don’t like to talk about things I cannot say with certainty. We’ll keep track of how things are going.”
