Everton given two day deadline to sort out player exit, after offer tabled

Fanatik claim Fenerbahce have given Everton two days to consider the transfer of Oumar Niasse to the Turkish giants.

The forward has been linked with a move to Turkey in recent days, after his proposed transfer to Crystal Palace fell through on deadline day.

It’s been claimed Fenerbahce have set Everton this deadline as they continue to explore the possibility of bringing in the forward. Yesterday we covered reports the Turkish side have offered the Premier League side €2.5m to loan Niasse for the season, with a right of redemption of €7m.

Niasse spent the second half of last season on loan at Hull City and despite his good performances under Marco Silva, it’s likely he’ll continue to be overlooked by Everton manager Ronald Koeman. The Dutchman would allow his move to Turkey, but both clubs will have to act quickly with the Turkish window set to close on Friday.

The Yellow Canaries are the only club showing strong interest to sign Niasse, at least according to the Turkish claims, and it seems this is Everton’s only option to finally offload the player.
