Former Nigeria U17 World Youth Championship winner Funsho Bamgboye helped bring his team Haladas from two goals down to a comeback 3-2 win over Ujpest with a brace in the Hungarian top division game.
Bamgboye was introduced in the 60th minute and two minutes later the former Aspire Academy prospect pulled a goal back for his team to bring scores to 2-1 before scoring what ended as the winner for his team with another goal five minutes later to help his team to a 3-2 win.
After a slow start to life at the club, 20 year old Bamgboye is finally making his mark at the club with almost same form that almost secured him a deal in England with Tottenham Hotspur.
Ujpest had Nigerian midfielders Obinna Nwobodo and Vincent Onovo on from start to finish while new signing Theophilus Solomon was introduced with eight minutes left to play in the game. Despite the morale boosting win Haladas are still bottom of the log after 21 games while Ujpest are 4th on same points with third placed Debrecen.
