Well done if anyone got on this!
From August to December last season, watching Swansea City in the Premier League was often the stuff of nightmares.
But Paul Clement arrived in the New Year to guide the club to safety in dramatic fashion as the Swans won four of their last five league outings.
And it seems that if the Swansea faithful would have been more confident in their own team, they would have been laughing all the way down to the bookies.
Oddschecker have released a table that shows the returns you would have obtained if you invested £20 in every Premier League side during the course of the 2016-17 campaign.
And it has thrown up some surprising results.
Unsurprisingly, Chelsea were second as they cruised to the title while Watford and Tottenham complete the top four.
Swansea fans could have scooped £143 last term, while even the worst prices on matches would’ve seen supporters earn a £10 profit.
That was largely as a result of the shock win over Liverpool at Anfield as well as the impressive victories against Everton and Southampton.
Middlesbrough fans would’ve been the worst off, as even the best odds would have seen them lose £498.
Southampton, Stoke, Sunderland, Leicester, Manchester United, Man City and Bournemouth fans would all have been in the red, even with the best prices.
