Neymar insists he is “happy” at Barcelona amid speculation linking him with a £195million move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Reports suggest the 25-year-old has agreed terms with the Ligue 1 club, who are willing to more-than double the world record transfer fee and meet Neymar’s release clause.
The Barca star only signed a new five-year deal at the Nou Camp in October, claiming he felt “right at home” at the time.
And Neymar, who scored 13 goals for Barcelona last term, has reiterated that he is settled at the club despite the transfer speculation.
“The last one was my best season in Barcelona” he told Goal.
“I am very adapted to the city, the club and I am happy here. That is reflected on the performance of an athlete.
“It was the season where I felt more comfortable, even though we did not win the titles we would have wanted. We played great games and lived incredible moments. Now, we need to work for the 2017-18 season so it will be even more positive individually and as a group.”
It comes after Barca vice-president Jordi Mestre dismissed reports Neymar is set to leave the club, insisting he is “200 per cent” certain the Brazil international will remain with the five-time European Cup winners.
