The Nigerian forward created two assists as her Chinese side claimed a win away from home in Meizhou on Sunday
Francisca Ordega continued her recent fine form as Shanghai defeated Guangdong 3-0 in the Chinese Women’s FA Cup semi-final, first leg on Sunday.
Prior to the clash, Guangdong were huge favorites to reach the final, having eliminated Dalian Quanjian and Beijing Phoenix previously.
However, Nigeria’s Ordega provided two assists for Yan Jinjin in the first half to give the visitors a 2-0 lead at the break.
A second-half strike from Zhao Yingying further condemned the hosts to a horrible first-leg defeat at home and handed a huge advantage to the Shanghai side.
The 25-year-old, who made six appearances since joining Shanghai in March, has now scored five goals and provided six assists this term.
