Tosin Kehinde has gotten his biggest recognition to date since he started defending the colours of Manchester United, with the Lagos-born midfielder nominated for Manchester United’s Goal of the Month Award for September.
Kehinde’s super strike against Chelsea in the Premier League 2 on September 18 is in the running for the most eye-catching goal scored by a Manchester United player across all levels in the month of September.
On 38 minutes, the 19-year-old unleashed an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box, after taking a pass from DJ Buffonge, to give the Red Devils the lead at Electrical Services Stadium (Aldershot, Hampshire).
Strikes from Antonio Valencia, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Marcus Rashford, Aidan Barlow, Arnau Puigmal, Romelu Lukaku and Juan Mata are also up for the award.
