The England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder played for Liverpool U23 squad on Monday night in their 2-0 win at West Ham and will not be considered for the trip to Leicester City as a result.
In the same vein, Bobby Adekanye, who is targeting a debut for Liverpool’s first team is not expected to figure for the Reds against the Foxes as the winger also featured for the U23s last night.
Last season, Ejaria was considered one of the brightest young talents at Liverpool, but has found playing opportunities difficult to come by after his return from a long term injury just before the 2017 Fifa U20 World Cup.
