Israeli Premier League powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv have reported through their official website that they have completed the signing of Nigerian striker Chikeluba Ofoedu following a successful medical.
The Oak Zeel FC product has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the 21-time champions of Israeli and joins the club on a free transfer.
Maccabi’s CEO, Ben Mansford, told the club’s official website: ”I am delighted to welcome ‘Chico’ to Maccabi as we continue to finalize the squad for this season.
”Chico had many options across Europe and it is a superb achievement from everyone at the Club, from Mitch to Vladamir, that we got this one closed out.

Ofoedu previously played for Turkish clubs 1461 Trabzon, Karşıyaka, Samsunspor and Eskişehirspor.
