Chelsea of England returnee, Kenneth Omeruo has brushed aside all transfer reports swirling round him this summer, as he insists his future lies at Stamford Bridge, and he fancies his chances of staying with the team in the coming season.
Rather than jump at escalating reports of an impending summer transfer coming his way, following his brilliant form with the Su[per Eagles at the World Cup, the dark-skinned stopper insists he is thinking only of sticking out with The Blues on a permanent basis.
Omeruo, who has yet to make any appearance in the English Premier League debut with Chelsea, since signing for the London club in 2012, said he wants to finally claim a spot in the squad following several loan spells.
His impressive performances in Russia helped to increase interest from several clubs in Europe and, though Omeruo admitted his agent is holding discussions with some clubs, he dismissed reports that he is on the verge of joining KAA Gent of Belgium.
Omeruo stated: “My agents are in talks with several clubs in the event my future lies away from Stamford Bridge.
“I am looking to settle down permanently after several loan moves, but no agreement has been reached with any club at the moment.
“At the moment, I have not decided where I will be playing next season as I still need to speak to Chelsea, so any news right now about an agreement with any club is not true.”
