Nigeria U23 forward Victor Osimhen says the Nigerian team has the potential to score five goals against Libya to wipe out the 0-2 deficit suffered against same opponent in Tunisia on Wednesday.
Speaking after their final training session, the 20 year old who was drafted to the team from the Super Eagles after the first leg tie said approaching the game with the right mentality is key.
Osimhen praised the quality of players in the attack of the Nigerian team insisting that if they put their acts together they can score as many as five goals in the game to seal passage to the next round of the qualifiers.
” I’ve been very impressed with the coaches and my teammates. Preparation has been fantastic for the game. We need to cancel out a two goal deficit and I must say it’s something that I believe we can do if we put our individual talents into proper use for the team”, he told Sports&study.org
” We can score five goals judging by what I’ve seen do far, all we have to do is to approach the game with the right mentality and not take our opponent for granted because for them to beat us at their place means they are also a formidable side”.
