Tottenham boss Pochettino struggles to contain his anger following Burnley draw

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino struggled to contain his anger after his side drew 1-1 with Burnley on Sunday.

The North London club conceded an equalizer during second half stoppage time after their defence parted to allow Chris Wood to score a goal.

This is Spurs second disappointing result at Wembley following their defeat against Chelsea last weekend.

Pochettino however refused to blame the new home stadium for his side’s performance and instead blamed himself as well as his players.

After the game, the Argentine said, “I feel disappointed because we showed a lack of concentration at the end. We conceded a goal with five or six players behind the ball. That was our mistake. We need to take responsibility, and that was our fault.”

Considering that Spurs are looking to challenge for the Premier League and have lost five points from their past two games, it is easy to see why Pochettino is frustrated.
