According to reports, Tottenham have reached an agreement over a £50 million sale of Kyle Walker with Manchester City. The deal is expected to be finalized before Pep Guardiola takes his City team on the pre-season tour of North America on Monday.
After losing out PSG in the race to sign Dani Alves, City would have had to step up their efforts to sign Walker.
City were confident of recruiting Alves, having reportedly agreed terms with him several weeks ago, however the player is rumored to have changed his mind at the last minute and chose to join the Ligue 1 giants instead.
After falling down the pecking order at Spurs last season, Walker has long been linked with a move to Spurs. City have also been linked with a swoop for Monaco star Benjamin Mendy, whom they are also confident of sealing a deal for before their tour of North America.
