Aurier is a defensive target for Jose Mourinho this summer according to the Independent as United look to bolster their options, and with PSG signing Dani Alves there is now significantly more competition at right-back at PSG.
The Ivorian has reportedly been eager to leave the French capital for a number of months and it has now been revealed that Aurier will not join his PSG teammates on their pre-season tour of the US.
Emery has confirmed this is because the 24-year-old asked to remain in Paris to secure himself a move away, and is now expected to depart PSG for another side in the near future.
The PSG manager told L’Equipe: “I spoke with Serge to tell him that I wanted him to stay.
“He told me that he wants to leave and he preferred staying in Paris to prepare for his departure.”
Aurier played 22 times in Ligue 1 last season, having moved to PSG in 2014 from Toulouse, but now looks set to confirm his exit from the French giants.
