The left-back has taken the Albion number three jersey
New West Brom signing Kieran Gibbs has exclaimed that he cannot wait to get going after making a move to The Hawthorns.
Gibbs, 27, has penned a four-year contract and will take the number three shirt vacated by Jonas Olsson after leaving boyhood club Arsenal.
He becomes the Baggies’ fifth summer signing after Jay Rodriguez, Ahmed Hegazi, Gareth Barry and Oliver Burke.
“Firstly I would like to say how delighted I am to sign for WBA,” Gibbs posted on Twitter.
“It has been an amazing journey to play for my childhood club since I was 14
“I would like to give Arsene Wenger the chance to start my career and fulfil a dream!!
“Thank you to all the fans, the Arsenal staff, and especially my teammates who have been there during the special moments and helped me through some tough times.
“Now it’s time for the next chapter with West Bromwich Albion and I can’t wait to get started with the boys! #UpTheBaggies”
